I was able to get this car to hit 160 mph, by gearing it with a 2.80 rear end and 16 inch tires. I would never recommend that some one should go that speed in a vintage mustang or on a public highway. Vintage Mustangs are not as aerodynamic as the newer Ford Mustangs, and really should have a front spoiler and rear wing to minimize lift, as a vintage Ford Mustang at that speed can become very unstable.
