About my GT350

My car is a 1969 Shelby GT 350 Convertible "Tribute". I use the word tribute because this car truly is a trbute the Ford and Shelby - I have always loved this car and 11 years ago, I purchased a 1969 Mustang Convertible "Plain Jane" 302 V8 car. Manual "Everything". The work started with the body - everything was replaced including quarters, floors, trunk, suspension, power train, electrical - literally everything. Over 11 years and 2 family moves, the car began to take shape. Through help from a friend in California - Derek @ Sontech Auto and Tony and Conover Racing, the car transformed from the Plain Jane to the car you see here - power disc brakes, power steering, 351W V8, 8 speaker stereo, Dynamat sound deadening materiala and heavy duty suspension. There are still a few projects left - Install the stock exhaust, a change in the cam - moving to a smoother idle and better mileage freeway gears. But the car is so fun to drive.
